Violeta Parra's Visual Art
My AHRC funded doctoral research was on art by the Chilean artist Violeta Parra. This led to the edited volume Violeta Parra: Life and Work (2017) and the monograph Violeta Parra's Visual Art: Painted Songs (2020). I have also co-written a book on Parra's legacy with Patricia Vilches (forthcoming). I have published articles and book chapters on Parra's work and have been consulted regarding the inclusion of her artwork in major exhibitions.

Outputs
I was invited to Chile by the Fundación Violeta Parra, the Chilean government and the British Council to present my work on Parra's art.
I have also presented it in a podcast organised by the Violeta Parra Museum, in conferences and in events for and organised by members of the Chilean diaspora in London.
